New Year new hair

From Runway to Real Life

Hair gel will be your new best friend in 2019! From super sleek, slicked backed pony’s to glossy, gelled, swept-back looks this style is here to stay. Grab your blow dryer, a texturizing spray, a fine tooth comb, strong hold hair gel or texture paste and TONS of hair spray to try this style out for yourself and you will ooze confidence.

If you’re a child of the 80’s you’re in luck; big hair is back and better than ever. We’re seeing lots of unstructured curls and waves, an “I-woke-up-like-this” kind of vibe. Think all-American, fresh, bouncy, big hair. Tousled waves and curls give off an effortlessly beautiful look and we don’t see this trend going anywhere.

Hair accessories are making a huge comeback too! Hair clips, scarves and headbands were seen everywhere and for good reason; these accessories make the wearer effortlessly chic. Dress up a simple middle part with some fun hair clips or add some flair to your low bun with a headband. This simple trend can be dressed up or down so it’s perfect for any occasion.

Wild pops of color are also big for 2019. Whether it’s braided, colorful extensions or neon coral or lavender hair, loud, bright, fashion colors are super trendy for 2019. Think punky, edgy and fun. Neons for the adventurous person and pale, muted, romantic colors for the tame.
